We are currently seeking a Conservation Planner. The Conservation Planner is to oversee and develop mitigation banking projects in the Rocky Mountain Region . This position will be responsible for the planning, execution, and tracking of new wetlands/conservation mitigation project approvals and will assist with regional compliance tracking of approved mitigation projects.
Bachelor’s degree in a natural sciences field.
Minimum of eight years related work experience in wetland and/or stream restoration planning, design and/or implementation.
Demonstrated effectiveness in working with regulatory processes and personnel, including Section 404 permitting and ESA issues.
Strong project management experience.
Knowledge of Colorado’s biological habitats, species and general conservation biology/ecology is preferred.
Previous experience in managing contractors/consultants and working in a team environment.
